UK Ethics & Compliance Partner


To strengthen our Legal & Compliance team based in our UK head office in Slough, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Affiliate Ethics & Compliance Partner.  

As the Affiliate Ethics & Compliance Partner you will support the implementation of all elements of E&C programme (bribery & corruption, inappropriate promotion, Data Privacy and adherence to local industry regulations).

The E&C Partner will act as deputy for the Affiliate E&C Lead and will focus on operational aspects of the programme management.

  • Fully understand Ethics & Compliance risk environment and its impact on the area, partnering with stakeholders to properly manage those risks.
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders to ensure Area/Affiliates maximize the effectiveness of the compliance program, ensuring that business leadership is committed to the highest ethical and compliance standards.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business on ethics & compliance matters.


You will contribute by:

  • Being the Primary E&C contact for assigned tasks / projects within BII / business team (as agreed with E&C Lead).
  • Supporting the E&C Lead in localization and/or operationalization of ethics & compliance programme elements.
  • Aiding the E&C Lead and advising business colleagues to drive integration of E&C into their plans & operations.
  • Supporting the country E&C Lead in delivery and implementation of any additional projects and tasks.
  • Helping the implementation of global solutions as subject matter expert.  


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience (direct or indirect – confronted and operated) in healthcare compliance.
  • Proficiency in Healthcare Compliance requirements including self-regulated industry codes (ABPI, IPHA, PAGB, EFPIA).
  • Experience in a transnational and multicultural environment.
