To strengthen our Marketing Access & Pricing Team in Smyrna, Georgia, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Marketing Intern
 

The internship program at UCB allows college and graduate students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain experience in a corporate setting with projects that are tailored to their studies, their interests and their career development goals.
Working as an Intern with the Market Access & Pricing (MAP) Marketing Team would be instrumental for a young professional, as they are able to support different branded products, liaise among two different Patient Value Units and learn the complicated access relationships between pharmaceutical companies, payers/customers, doctors and patients.  When supporting the MAP Marketing Team, the Intern will play a key role of executing the marketing strategies and tactics to properly position UCB as the patient preferred biopharmaceutical company.

In this role, you will contribute by:

• Developing deeper understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including exposure to the Market Access
• Improve excellence in communicating complex topics tailored to various audiences both written and verbally
• Network, navigate and communicate across an organization to ensure alignment of stakeholders
• Manage projects from inception to completion
• Increase experience in working in a collaborative team environment


Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Completion of Freshman year and current enrollment in a college program in at least one of the following majors: Arts & Design, Business, Communications, General Studies, and/or Health Professions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated project leadership
• Strong MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Self starter; can work independently
• Previous experience in business environment
